In this photo:
(1) Chocolate & Berries Cake – Dark Valrohna Chocolate cake with a layer of cream cheese frosting & a second coating of chocolate mousse frosting topped off with dark chocolate ganache & fresh berries
(2) The Spoiled Mummy’s Choice for Holiday Cake – the Strawberry Shortcake – with whole fresh strawberries on top and sliced strawberries layered inside the cake
(3) Ube Cheesecake – Anitali’s latest creation. MUST TRY! I am not a huge fan of cheesecakes. Somehow the ones I’ve tasted before tastes wrong to me. But THIS ANITALI UBE CHEESECAKE! This!!! This!!! (Haha, sometimes I wonder why I try to blog when I can’t even find the right words to describe things.)
Anitali uses only premium, organic, natural and fresh ingredients. No synthetics, no extenders, no preservatives, no food colorings. Some cakes in the market look very pretty, with all the vibrant colors from food colorings and other synthetic ingredients. Some cakes are meant to be decorations, eye-candies and not meant to be eaten. Do you know that FDA released several advisories in 2014 against food colorings / dyes that are banned and very very very harmful to our health? Some tests showed products that are positive in Rhodamine B – a cancer-causing substance found in dyes used as tracers in water and air flow studies but use is strictly prohibited in food preparations. [Sidenote: FDA has an advisory about red/orange/yellow food colorings this year, that I can’t find on the net. Looking for it and will update this post once I find it.] Yup! I see all those banned colors in so many cakes, specially children’s cakes.
Anitali cakes are created to be eaten, enjoyed and shared with family, friends and special people who make our lives richer everyday. Created with your health and well-being in mind. We had the Dark Chocolate and Berries Cake, and the Strawberry Shortcake this Christmas. And everybody in the table, whether they have sweet tooth or not, enjoyed these cakes. I also feel bringing something special to the celebration as Anitali’s cakes are made-to-order and fresh all the time! You cannot buy these in bulk as Anita herself oversees, and usually does the major preparations and baking herself. With her increasing number of very loyal patrons, you will be lucky to be able to squeeze your order/s in.
