EARTH KITCHEN

I have been asking my husband to eat with me in Earth Kitchen in Katipunan for the longest time. It is very near The Souq Organics boutique and we always pass by it whenever we go to Ateneo for his Sunday morning jiujitsu. We both thought Earth Kitchen is a vegan restaurant. He kept on saying – “No, I need meat! I’m not a rabbit.”  So one day – I just decided to go without him.

To my delight, it’s not a vegan restaurant. That means I can ask him to date me in Earth Kitchen! They serve mostly ORGANIC food. Delicious delicious delicious organic food! From the first time I have visited, I am already singing my praises for this organic restaurant, to anyone and everyone who is willing to listen. And from my first post in Instagram, sooooo many friends and acquaintances have already tried – all saying the food is really great! Everything they ordered in the menu so far – are really delicious! And another great thing about it, the price is not expensive. So worth every peso you will spend!

First visit…

It is very cool and airy inside the restaurant. “Sobrang maaliwalas!” (Bright, spacious, well-ventilated, pleasant, serene). I love the real plants inside and outside (hate plastic and artificial plants big time!!!), love the wide windows, love the smell of the wooden tables and wooden chairs, love the natural light, love the Filipino paintings on the walls – which show Filipino values and traditions. I love the food! And I love the prices! – – – I just hope they will have high chair for toddlers soon.

On my first visit, their FB page only has a little over 2,000 likes. And now – as of writing this blog – they have over 10,000!!! “Talagang masarap!” (Really delicious!)

Fourth visit…

Fifth visit…

Sixth visit…

Seventh visit…

Eight visit…

I have already stopped taking photos. I just enjoy or gulp down the food as soon as it is served. Being ME means eating really fast since I pretty much bring my little Izzy every time I go to Earth Kitchen. We do not have a yaya, so when our Lola is not able to come and help take care of her, I bring her anywhere I go. She loves the food! And of course – so does our house help – our trusty Ate Jona! I also bring her to help me carry Izzy’s stuff around. Good thing Earth Kitchen’s servings are not small, so I’m always able to half my orders and share with her. “Ang saya-saya nya!!!” Now she makes us fruit shakes at home ala Earth Kitchen! 🙂

If you live far from Katipunan area, I would say Earth Kitchen is worth the drive! While you’re in the area, check out Got Heart beside Earth Kitchen. They sell organic salted eggs, organic honey, organic coffee, organic rice, organic vegetables. and other Filipino-made stuff.

Check the gardens also. There are several plant and koi sellers in White Plains road. Plus the authentic Lapid’s chicharon is there also. And of course, drop by The Souq Organics boutique for your organic cosmetics and personal care products! You may want to explore the whole Bellitudo Lifestyle Strip which houses Grey Market, Pink Peony, Celline, Flaming Wings and Bawais.

Here is Earth Kitchen‘s address in case you want to try:

LOT 10-B-10 White Plains, Katipunan Avenue, 1110 Quezon City

Mobile: +63.917.584.3278

Try and let me know how you like their food!

  1. I’m a senior citizen and would surely love to visit this kind of restaurant. But I live in Binan, Laguna and it means lots of fuel to eat here. Do you have other nearer branches?
